UEFA President unveils new football facilities

UEFA President, Michel Platini unveiled the new football facilities for a Maltese third division club, Fgura United. Mr.Platini inaugurated these facilities during a short visit on the Maltese islands, which are part of UEFA's Hat Trick programme for grass root teams.

Fort Rinella - "Through the barrel of a gun"

Today I was lucky to attend to an event at Fort Rinella organised by Fondazzjoni Wirt Artna.

At the event there were stands displaying original historic and modern weaponry. The Armed Forces of Malta gave demonstrations of their usability to the crowd.

The focus of this event was on the evolution of firearms and their relation to Maltese history.
